On Writing by Stephen King

On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft is a memoir by American author Stephen King that describes his experiences as a writer and his advice for aspiring writers. Originally published in 2000 by Charles Scribner's Sons, it was King's first book after he was involved in a car accident a year earlier.



Persepolis by Marjane Satrapi

Persepolis is an autobiographical series of bande dessinées by Marjane Satrapi that depicts her childhood up to her early adult years in Iran and Austria during and after the Islamic Revolution. The title Persepolis is a reference to the ancient capital of the Persian Empire.

AmericanBaron is a creator of comedy sketches on social media platforms (TikTok + Instagram) creating 250+ videos since March 2020. He has gained 800,000+ followers on TikTok and 50,000+ on Instagram in seven months. Baron Ryan is best known for his appeal to the existential and philosphical and is an excellent resource in the new format of perfect video loops. 


Sarah Z is a Canadian YouTuber. She is best known for her video essays analyzing fandom and online culture and phenomena over time, particularly on Tumblr. She has a background in professional debate, which makes her an excellent resource for new forms of electronic rhetoric.


Big Joel is a YouTuber who makes "video essays and deep dives about movies and other things." His content mainly critiques both entertainment media and right-wing figures.

RhymeZone: RhymeZone is an app and website and owned and operated by Datamuse, created in1996, that allows the user to search for rhymes, synonyms and definitions. RhymeZone also has an app for Amazon Alexa and an add-on for Google Docs.


Scrivener: Scrivener is a word-processing program and outliner designed for authors. Scrivener provides a management system for documents, notes and metadata. This allows the user to organize notes, concepts, research, and whole documents for easy access and reference.
